ABOUT DESERT FIBER ARTS GUILD
Our motto is "Each one, Teach one." Purposes of DFAOur purposes are: 1) to promote participation in and appreciation for fine craftsmanship related to the fiber arts and 2) to encourage the development and interest of the craft field within the arts, in education, therapy, marketing, and the community as a whole. Join Us for MeetingsIn June or July, we enjoy Dye in the Park, a dye session in a local park. Our August meeting is demonstrating at the Fiber Arts Booth at the Benton Franklin Fair. Our Biannual Membership Show is exhibited at the Allied Arts Gallery in Richland, WA. Next scheduled show: January, 2009. Our current study groups are: The Great Wheels Spinning Group- meets every Tuesday evening at various spots around the Tri-Cities. Basketry- meets three mornings and one evening each month.
