This is a free pattern with no restrictions for improvement of the pattern or for sale of finished shawl.

Clues will be emailed to you on Wednesday mornings starting May 1st. You can also check the Desert Fiber Arts webpage.

This is a charted Lace Shawl with a 3 stitch garter edge.

This is for knitters who have been knitting scarves and are ready for something more challenging, a larger project or want to learn new skills.

There will be moments of panic but they are well defined and alternate stitches have been provided.   Here is a link to the original pattern

Want to learn how to knit?

Lindsey created these patterns the first year we started.  If you knit all the patterns for these 12 lessons you will become a very capable knitter able to knit cables, lace and even bobbles. Most lessons have 3 squares, Easy, Beginner and Intermediate.  Each square takes about 2 oz. of yarn.   Made of cotton yarn they make wonderful washcloths.  If you buy 72 oz. of coordinating yarn you can make yourself a lovely afghan.
All patterns can be found here as well as on Ravelry.com!
