The study group is on schedule for the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month from 12:00 – 4:00pm.

We all like the earlier time as we can drive home in the daylight, almost. Barring weather and road conditions, we will continue to meet on this schedule.
This has been a productive year with some weavers purchasing kits to advance their creativity. We had a guest weaver from Walla Walla who was interested in warping the direct method with double heddles. Kathy Myers provided an excellent presentation. Don Ashley, new member from College Place, came last meeting with two heddles in place, weaving a 2/1 twill, making a scarf for his granddaughter. So it is safe to say that 2018 will be seeing a lot of double heddle projects.

Kathy M. and Dorothy M. are going to tackle a David Xenakis rendition of Blooming Leaf overshot. That has been on Dorothy’s want-to-do-list for 35 years. Time to do it!!

So we are inviting/challenging all Rigid Heddle weavers to double up those heddles and join in on the fun.
