Basketeers will meet Monday, August 7th from 1pm-4pm.Please join us. Everyone is welcome! We had to make a pivot on our project. This Monday we will be making darling Seagrass Baskets with a Saw Tooth border. While we regroup.We will be deciding on August 7th which project we will be doing for our meeting dates August 21st & September 4th. September 18th the Basketeers will be doing a Heart Making Class at Brookdale Retirement Center.
Our original plan was to make this really cool spiral basket, but have run into supply chain & cost issues. The materials will be approximately $30. We need to have commitment in advance to know how many handles to order. Just the handles will be approximately $18.00.
Judy has an alternate suggestion for you to consider for the August/September Basket.This basket needs just 3 rings, round reed and materials we mostly have available in our stash. Or do we look further for other suggestions. So much to decide.
