It is time to think about fall and Christmas décor and gifts already. I would like to hear from those who are interested in felting; what is on your “wish list”. If you could email me @ ld*******@ho*****.com with your top two favorite things you would like to make, I would appreciate it. A picture of the item would be of assistance. I would like to put together a master list of what we want to felt and what skills we want/need to learn to learn to successfully execute the items on our list.
To those of you that have wanted to attend, but, haven’t been able to for one reason or another…we will start with the basics for you! Please send in your top two items also. If you don’t have a project in mind just let me know the skills you want. Needle felting, wet felting, painting with wool (combo of the two), nuno felting, etc. Maybe dying your loose wool roving?
I want you to know, once you have the basics, you can tackle just about anything.
There are several interim steps I will need to learn/practice before attempting either one of these. But I will get there. These are not exact colors or styles, but they are close enough for this exercise. Technically, this is the tip of the iceberg, so to speak, as my list is long and varied. Patience and practice are the key words.
We will discuss the results of this exercise, the first time we meet in September. Please send me an email with your dreams, so we can help you accomplish them.
