The Fiber Bowl class Saturday, January 17th was a huge success. Eight students joined our two instructors. It was a tons of fun. Everyone successfully made a coupled bowls before the end of the class.

Roving, yarn scraps, and anything light and airy like small bits of fabric lace, ribbon, etc. were used to create the bowls. Class participants laid out their designs on a pieces of water soluble material in an embroidery hoop. Then, used the free motion quilt setting on a sewing machine to tie it all down. The fledgling bowls were then wet & shaped around a glass vessel. Once dry the beautiful bowl was complete.
