This year marks the 8th Mini Sweater Pin Loom Day, and ANWG would love for our weaving community to join the celebration. What is Mini Sweater Pin Loom Day? Every December 20, pin loom weavers from around the world come together to create something joyful and full of creativity: a mini sweater made from four 4×4″ pin loom squares. Participants weave their mini sweater, take a picture and send it in. Then, on the day of the celebration, all those little sweaters come together to create one big, colorful image celebrating pin loom weaving around the world.
It is a simple, fun way to connect with other weavers everywhere.

Please share the Mini Sweater Pin Loom Day with our weaving community members and encourage them to join this worldwide celebration of pin loom weaving. You can participate individually, as a group or even organize a small gathering to weave mini sweaters together.2. ANWG is inviting Ambassadors for the first time
ANWG would love to know if someone from our DFA Giuld or community would like to become a Mini Sweater Pin Loom Day Ambassador and help spread the word within our own weaving community and beyond.An Ambassador can help share the event, encourage participation, post about it in their community or simply be a friendly point of connection for other weavers who want to join. It doesn’t require a large organization or a big following, just enthusiasm for pin loom weaving and a desire to help bring people together.
