Our next meeting will be Tuesday, July 18th at 6:00pm in Conference Room A of the Richland Library.

Franna Pitt will give a presentation on how to get your items ready to enter at the Benton Franklin Fair. She entered many items in last year’s Fair and the judges loved her finishing and blocking. She will discuss finishing for hand worked items and the Figure 8 Tie for hand spun skeins of yarn. Bring any finishing questions and she’ll get you settled.

The Open Class Fiber is Department 25, Susan Smith is the Department Supervisor. She will be at the meeting to address your questions on how to register for this year’s Benton Franklin Fair. Items displayed in this department must be made of Natural Fibers with exceptions for handknit Socks and some weaving.

Here is the link to register as an exhibitor for the Fair.
