Create a decorative bowl from fiber scraps using thread, a sewing machine, and your creativity. Learn to layer fibers and yarn in a large embroidery hoop with stabilizer for free motion sewing. At the end of the day, you will take home a project to keep.
Please bring if possible:
1. Glass bowl (1½–3 quarts)
2. 1–2 oz loose wool fiber and yarn (any color)
3. Sewing machine with feed dogs that lower and a full bobbin
4. Free motion quilting foot and dark sewing thread
5. 12” or 10” embroidery hoop
We have loaner machines, hoops, and fibers if you can’t bring supplies.
Fee: Free. Suggested donation to DFA $15.00, all proceeds benefit DFA (8–maximum class size)
